Julie Newland is currently a Health Information Management consultant with Saudi Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI) and the Saudi Health Information Management Associates (SHIMA) and is passionate about promoting outcomes to achieve the benefits of good quality health data and information.
She received her BSc. (Hons.) Health Information Management from Curtin University in 2002 and maintains current certification as a Health Information Manager with the Australian Health Information Management Association (HIMAA) credentialing program.
Julie has over 20 years of operational experience in all aspects of health Information management, including senior management and education roles. Her focus has been on ICD-10-AM Clinical Coding and implementation of Activity Based Funding and Management (ABF/M) in Public and Private healthcare settings.
Julie held a position as Senior Lecturer in Health Information Management at Curtin University in Australia from 2010-2012.
